Hello everyone!
It's been a month since we moved house YAYY!!! I wrote this post a couple of weeks before we moved and after I had packed all of MY stuff. While the others were at work packing the rest of the stuff for which I was supposed to help, I took a LONG break and wrote about a bunch of lip balms I came across during the cleaning process. Well here goes…
2-Janet Wild Strawberry lipbalm
3-OxyGlow Lavender lipbalm
4-Farmasi Intense Moisturizing balm
5-Maybelline Baby lips lipbalm in Rose Addict
Much love,
Hey everyone!
This is my second review and the products I’m reviewing today are 2 of the eye shadow palettes by Meis. This is a product I’ve never used before and I just bought this because I wanted few shades of black and brown eye shadow for an event. The cost of one palette is Rs. 220 which is about 1.68 US dollars which is VERY cheap.
Packaging:
The packaging itself is quite nice although the colors cannot be seen properly until the lid is opened. Each palette comes with an applicator.
Wear:
I bought the palettes number 05 which has shades of brown and number 06 which has shades of black. The brown palette had more matte shades and the black palette had more shimmer in the shades. However I liked the fact that there were two black shades: one with a shimmer and the other with a more matte effect.
Number 05 palette:
1-Pale pink
2-White
3-Nude color (although it looks more bronze)
4-Ashy brown
5-Dark brown
6-Moss color
Number 06 palette:
1-Light blue
2-White
3-Dark blue
4-Black with a shimmer
5-Spruce color
6-Matte black
The colors are quite nice but some of the colors especially the lighter shades require a couple of applications before the actual color is seen. They didn’t last a long time after application and the packaging itself hasn’t claimed to do so. It also came off easily with just makeup wipes.
Would I buy this product again?:
I think the palettes are great for travelling as they are quite small and can come in handy for quick fixes. Since it is actually quite cheap I wouldn’t mind buying the brown palette again.

Hello everyone!
I'm bringing back this old post from December about my visit to Kelly Felder which I thought of re-posting since it's Valentine's day and they have their new "valentine kollection" out. You can check out the valentine kollection here > https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10153078837468514.1073741972.166908268513&type=1
I had been so busy last December with office work and preparing Christmas hampers and somehow between the endless rounds of tea and taping myself in the process of wrapping them (I finally managed to wrap presents in a decent way) I was able to do some shopping at the Kelly Felder store in Colombo. I knew of this brand as I had previously purchased a great pair of jeans from when some of their products were available at Odel. But this was the first time I went to the store located at Dharmapala Mawatha. I was pleasantly surprised by the diversity of clothing they had, from crop tops and chic office wear to beautiful dresses and in a wide range of sizes. I also spotted some trendy camo jeans and leggings. I ended up buying a polka-dot top for casual wear, a pair of printed pants for office wear and a printed dress which my friend got for me.
Top-Kelly Felder $6.85 /Jeans-Splash
Top-Odel/ Pants-Kelly Felder $18.46
Dress-Kelly Felder $20/ Heels- Saffans

Hey everyone!
I’m SO excited to be doing my first review. The product I’m reviewing today is the Colossal Kajal by Maybelline.I’ve used this product before but since I got another, I thought I should do a review. So first things first, this product is available at a lot of stores and I bought mine for Rs. 995 (Please consider that the price in the package shown in the pictures is in Indian Rupees). The package mentions that the kajal contains Olive oil esters, Vitamin E and Vitamin C derivatives and conditioning agents and that it is ophthalmologically tested and is suitable for contact lens wearers.
Packaging:
The packaging is quite lovely, as with all other Maybelline products and it comes in a bright yellow color, which can be spotted fairly easily. The pen itself is retractable and easy to work with.

Wear:
The product claims that it can last up to 12 hours and is smudge proof. Further it claims that it has the deepest black pigments with an exclusive color fix formula which gives a smooth, intense black color.

It is smudge proof when applied on the upper lid and I LOVE this product for it because I usually only line my upper lids. Also I can guarantee it’s smudge proof as I have a love-hate relationship with my hair bangs and every time they fall closer to my eyes, I tend to rub my eyes. With all that messing about, this product lasted 6 hours until I wiped it clean. However it tends to wear off in the lower water line just after a couple of hours which is unfortunate. About the pigmentation, I think it’s quite good given that most of my friends don’t line their eyes with one stroke, myself included. So with a couple of strokes you can get that intense black color.

It is a little difficult to remove the product with just makeup wipes or cleanser, but then again they do recommend using Maybelline Make-up remover.
Another issue I have with this product is that it tends to break off if you apply too much pressure, which obviously makes it really difficult to use.
Would I buy this product again?:
Since I already have, yes. That YES is because it is smudge proof on the upper lid-which is a MUST for any liner for me. Overall it is a good product to try out.
